Android's advertising ID, access to device screens analyzed by Spanish data watchdog

App developers must consider that sending personal data on to a third party needs a legal basis and must comply with principles in the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, such as data minimization, the regulator said. In a separate analysis, the regulator said that apps request users' permission to access Android devices' screens without correctly informing them.
