Continental motion for anti-suit injunction denied due to lack of clarity over Sharp

( September 11, 2019, 01:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Auto parts maker Continental saw its motion for an anti-suit injunction against Avanci, Avanci Platform International, Nokia and others denied by a federal judge in San Jose, California, because it was unclear whether the motion also applied to Sharp. US District Judge Lucy Koh denied the motion without prejudice in part because "the Court’s limited resources would be unduly burdened if the Court were required to resolve an additional motion for anti-suit injunction directed solely at Sharp." She granted leave, however, for Continental to refile a motion for anti-suit injunction that includes Sharp.See attached order....
