FDA bans Juul from selling e-cigarettes in US market

The products include the JUUL device and four types of JUULpods: Virginia tobacco flavored pods at nicotine concentrations of 5.0% and 3.0% and menthol flavored pods at nicotine concentrations of 5.0% and 3.0%, an FDA press release said. The move is a blow to Altria Group, which in 2018 spent billions for a 35 percent stake in Juul. The acquisition was subject to a failed Federal Trade Commission lawsuit, which the agency is currently attempting to appeal.Statement follows:...
