Judge grants preliminary approval to settlement in trespass case over Pokemon Go

( May 2, 2019, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge James Donato has granted preliminary approval to plaintiffs’ settlement with Niantic to resolve allegations that the company infringed their privacy by trespassing and inducing trespass on private property through its Pokemon Go game. The parties had revised the settlement to create a new channel for affected class members to complain directly to plaintiffs’ counsel for a curated review of any complaints raised by them as to Pokémon GO Points of Interest, and defense counsel will help coordinate that review.See document below....
