Amazon move to dismiss FTC's antitrust suit partially granted by US judge

( September 30, 2024, 23:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Amazon's motion to dismiss the US Federal Trade Commission's antitrust complaint has been granted in part and denied in part by a Washington federal judge. US District Judge John Chun is giving the FTC and plaintiff states suing the e-commerce giant until Oct. 31 to file a second amended complaint. Chun has also ordered that the bench trial for the matter only address Amazon's liability. If he renders a decision finding Amazon liable, he said he'll schedule a conference to address how to handle remedies. Chun filed his order under seal. Docket text follows. ...
