​Wife of ex-TLI executive can expect immunity in bribery case, DOJ says

( May 2, 2019, 20:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The wife of a former Transport Logistics International executive can expect to be immunized from prosecution in a case involving bribery of Russian nuclear fuel official, the US Justice Department said. Mark Lambert, a different former TLI executive who is facing trial on bribery and other charges in the matter, had asked that Carol Condrey receive immunity so that he could call her as a witness. "Although the government opposes the defendant’s mischaracterizations of the facts and unfounded accusations included within his motion, and reserves the right to oppose Mrs. Condrey’s testimony on other grounds, the government does not oppose the defendant’s request to provide letter immunity to Mrs. Condrey should she choose to assert her Fifth Amendment right not to testify at trial," DOJ said.See document below....
