Collins, King call for FCC to halt vote to eliminate net neutrality protections

( December 14, 2017, 17:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Republican US Senator Susan Collins and independent US Senator Angus King, both of Maine, sent a letter to US Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai calling on him to cancel the agency’s scheduled vote on a proposal that would rollback net neutrality protections. “This is a matter of enormous importance with significant implications for our entire economy, and therefore merits the most thorough, deliberate, and thoughtful process that can be provided.
