Brazil competition agency clears IT solutions, logistics, material handling, fertilizer, oil-gas, grain deals

( August 1, 2016, 14:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian antitrust authority has approved six deals following fast-track reviews: A plan by holding company Seahawk Holding (Cayman) to acquire control of Dell Software, a division of Dell that provides IT solutions; a plan by logistics company Muitilog to buy Elog Logística Sul, Maringá Serviços Auxiliares de Transporte Aéreo and Maringá Armazéns Gerais, which offer logictics services and are held by Elog, which is in turn held by EcoRodovias; a plan by Kion Group, a German manufacturer of materials handling equipment, to acquire control of DH Services Luxembourg Holding, known as Dematic, a material handling and logistics automation company; a plan by fertilizer company Eurochem to acquire a 51 percent stake in rival Fertilizantes Tocantins; a plan by state-controlled Petróleo Brasileiro to buy OP Energia's 20 percent stake in a concession accord involving the exploration, development and production of gas and oil in Bahia state; and a plan by agriculture company Cotrijal Cooperativa Agropecuária e Industrial to buy 18 properties, on which 14 units for grain receipt are installed, from biodiesel manufacturer BSBios Indústria e Comércio de Biodiesel Sul do Brasil. Cotrijal will also buy BSBios' fertilizer and pesticides inventories. All the properties are located in Rio Grande do Sul state.OJ statements follow in Portuguese....
