California officials say they can't serve papers on alleged Chinese software pirate

( March 25, 2013, 17:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Lawyers for California Attorney General Kamala Harris told a Superior Court judge in Los Angeles that although they have "worked diligently to initiate the foreign service process required under the Hague Convention," they have not been able to serve papers on Ningo Beyond Home Textile, a company based in Ningbo City, Zhejian Province, China, for the unlicensed use of copyrighted software to undercut the price of California-based clothing manufacturers.
