Czech software company Chaps gets reduction in dominance-abuse fine

( January 6, 2023, 10:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The fine imposed on Czech software supplier Chaps — for abusing its dominant position on the market for transport links and timetable data — now stands at 956,000 koruna (around $42,000), the national antitrust watchdog said today. The latest amount comes after administrative courts annulled the office's previous decisions, citing formal reasons. Chaps was originally fined 2.2 million koruna in 2016, for making it difficult for rivals to access data on transport links and timetables.
