US, German regulators clear Samsonite acquisition of Tumi

( April 25, 2016, 02:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Samsonite has received unconditional approval from US antitrust enforcers and Germany's Federal Cartel Office for its $1.8 billion acquisition of fellow luggage maker Tumi Holdings Inc., the company said in a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange today. The deal also requires approval from the shareholders of both companies.
