Railway operator Lietuvos Geležinkeliai sees its appeal against EU antitrust fine published

( March 22, 2021, 12:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The EU's top court published today a lawsuit brought by Lithuania's Lietuvos Geležinkeliai in January under which the state-owned railway company is seeking to annul or further reduce a European Commission fine for dominance abuse. The company removed a rail track linking Lithuania and Latvia, a conduct which prevented a major customer from using the services of another rail operator, the watchdog said in 2017. The original fine of about 28 million euros was cut by the EU General Court to just over 20 million euros last year.The summary of the appeal follows. Case reference is C-42/21....
