Apple asks judge to toss suit over uploading of contact lists

( October 18, 2013, 13:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Apple has asked US District Judge Jon Tigar to toss claims that the iPhone-maker was liable in the alleged improper uploading of contact lists by third-party apps. Apple argues the Communications Decency Act, which says computer interactive services are not liable for content published by third parties, protects Apple from those claims. Additionally, the iPhone-maker said that plaintiffs lack standing to bring the case becasue they cannot show how they were harmed by the uploading of their contact lists.See document below....
