Charter proposes full slate Of independent candidates for the Time Warner Cable board Of directors

( February 11, 2014, 17:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Nasdaq-listed broadband communications and cable operator Charter Communications announced Tuesday it has provided formal notice to NYSE-listed rival Time Warner Cable of its nomination of a full slate of 13 independent candidates for election to Time Warner Cable's Board of Directors at its 2014 Annual Meeting. Charter proposed to acquire Time Warner Cable for $132.50 a share in January. Time Warner Cable rejected that proposal and said it would only consider a deal at $160 a share.Statement follows in full....
