MarkForged, Continuous Composites settle 3D printer patent infringement case for $25 million, US SEC filings show

The parties granted each other global cross-licenses as part of the settlement, according to public filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. A US judge stayed federal litigation between the parties last week.Three-dimensional printer company MarkForged has agreed to pay Continuous Composites Inc., or CCI, $25 million to settle allegations it infringed a patented method and apparatus for the additive manufacturing of 3D objects rather than take its chances before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit....
