It said the efforts need to be undertaken in response to the government's policy to relax investment processes and procedures for both local and foreign investors. KPK Deputy Chairman Laode M. Syarif said that not all countries have looked at corporate bribery in the same way as the US has done through the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The KPK is wary of investors from countries with high levels of corruption and low levels of legal compliance, because they will be more likely to engage in bribery....
