Greensill’s lobbying to amend UK’s Covid financing facility met rejection from Treasury, records reveal

Between April and June 2020 the finance company pushed the Treasury to access government-backed loan programs put in place in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, with reports revealing that Greensill’s adviser, former prime minister David Cameron, had lobbied on their behalf.
