Transparency International Malaysia welcomes amendments to country's anticorruption law

( August 30, 2017, 07:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Transparency International's Malaysia chapter has welcomed a call by the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission to amend provisions in its anticorruption laws that would make it easier to prosecute white collar crime, especially involving government-linked companies. TI-Malaysia added that it is also looking forward to the addition of corporate liability provisions in the law so companies can be held accountable for corruption involving their employees.
