IAC seeks to dismiss antitrust case brought by former MySpace shareholder

( February 5, 2015, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: IAC/InterActive filed a motion to dismiss allegations that it conspired in a bid-rigging and anti-poaching scheme that resulted in MySpace being sold to News Corp for a discounted price. IAC argues that plaintiff filed his complaint as a shareholder and asks for damages for an injury done to MySpace, which is not a party, but does not purport to bring a derivative claim on its behalf.
