Clearwater Investment supports independent chair for Walmart, citing FCPA case

( August 29, 2017, 20:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Clearwater Investment Trust, a Minnesota investment firm with 8,900 voting shares of Walmart, said in a report of its proxy voting record that it supports a vote for an independent chair of the Walmart Board of Directors. They said that Walmart has been subject to risk oversight and legal concerns and that "shareholders still await full transparency with respect to the FCPA matter."
