UK telecom regulator cuts wholesale call rates by 40 percent

( February 6, 2015, 08:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The UK telecom regulator Ofcom plans to cut the tariffs mobile operators can charge to deliver incoming calls to subscribers by more than 40 percent. The current rates stand at 0.817 pence (1.25 US cents) per minute, and will fall to 0.477 pence per minute by April 2017.
