EU low-carbon hydrogen draft rules out today, kick-starting public consultation

( September 27, 2024, 10:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The EU hydrogen and energy sectors have four weeks to assess and give feedback on new draft rules completing the definition of low-carbon hydrogen, which the European Commission is set to publish today. Low-carbon hydrogen generates a 70 percent greenhouse gas-emissions saving compared to fossil hydrogen, the commission has said.
