Google, Arizona AG disagree over Google's response to privacy investigation

( September 21, 2020, 22:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google and Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich disagreed sharply about the quality of Google's response to the attorney general's investigative demands in a case where the state alleges Google violated a consumer fraud law on its disclosures over location data collection. Google told a judge that it produced a "vast amount of information" to the attorney general, while Brnovich said "Google was less than candid or cooperative during the Attorney General's pre-suit investigation, and significant discovery sought during investigation remains outstanding." The attorney general said he would not surrender his right to a jury trial if the case goes that far.See document below....
