South Korean transport ministry to establish future mobility policy bureau

( December 12, 2022, 03:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The South Korean transport ministry has announced plans to establish a new mobility policy bureau to accelerate the transition into autonomous vehicles, urban air mobility and other modes of future mobility. According to a statement from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, a mobility bureau and an urban air mobility policy division will be created as part of the organizational reform that the ministry plans to complete before the end of this year. The ministry said the new structure would help it lead the way into the era of future mobility, facilitate the commercialization of urban air transportation by 2025, and forward the policy agenda set by the Yoon Suk-yeol administration.The ministry's statement, in Korean, is attached....
