Food trade after no-deal Brexit assured as EU approves UK 'listed status'

( April 10, 2019, 10:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UK farmers will be able export animal originated products, such as cheese or beef, to the EU after a no-deal Brexit, after EU governments approved the UK’s "listed status" application. This means that the EU recognizes the UK's standards on animal health and biosecurity. The products will still have to be subject to sanitary checks at the border, and will still face trade tariffs.Statement follows....
