​UK tribunal backs ban, fine of financial adviser network chief

( August 9, 2017, 10:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A UK tribunal has backed a decision by the financial markets watchdog to ban and fine the chief of a financial advisers' network for repeated management failures. The Financial Conduct Authority forbade Charles Palmer from taking positions of "significance influence" at other financial companies and fined him 87,000 pounds for "failing to act with due skill, care and diligence" while chief executive of Financial Limited and Investments Ltd. About 40,000 customers received financial advice from the almost 1,000 individuals working under Palmer between February 2010 and December 2012.The statement follows....
