Three Malaysian contractors face penalties for allegedly rigging Putrajaya tenders

( September 10, 2024, 05:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Three Malaysian enterprises are facing sanctions for allegedly rigging the bids for six tenders for maintenance works issued by Perbadanan Putrajaya, the local authority for Putrajaya, the administrative center of Malaysia. The tenders, issued from 2018 to 2021, were worth 45 million ringgit ($10.3 million). The Malaysia Competition Commission, or MyCC, said it has notified Abadi Malaysia, Kota Lanskap and Usia Maintenance of its proposed infringement decision. The companies have 30 days to submit their written representations to MyCC within 30 days of receiving the proposed decision before the regulator issues its final decision.The full statement is attached. ...
