Microsoft ready to adopt EU-US ‘Privacy Shield’ arrangement, official says

( July 11, 2016, 09:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Microsoft is beginning to put into practice the requirements of a new EU-US data-transfer arrangement, and will sign up to it “as soon as possible,” John Frank, responsible for the company’s EU government affairs, said today. He described the agreement as an “important achievement” for privacy rights and for companies that depend on global data flows.
