​Taiwan antitrust regulator conditionally approves extension of joint shipping alliance for corn imports

( April 15, 2015, 04:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Taiwan Fair Trade Commission Wednesday approved a five-year extension until  2020 of an alliance for joint shipping of corn imports among DaChan, Charoen Pokphand Enterprise, FoodChina and Uni-President, with commitments. The FTC has required the companies to report to the regulator the execution plans of the joint action, and not to engage in any other form of concerted action, price fixing or abuse of dominance by taking advantage of the approval.
