Thai contractors' consortium faces DSI money laundering prosecution

The move was proposed by the Anti-Money Laundering Office, or Amlo, which last Thursday resolved to seize the remaining 6 billion baht in compensation that the state had been ordered to pay the contractors for scrapping the project after corruption was apparently uncovered. Almo also earlier approved a resolution to seize the nearly 4 billion baht already received by NVPSKG. The consortium comprised Gateway Development, Krung Thon Enterprises, Prayoonvisava Engineering, Vichitbhan Construction and North West Water International.  ...
