Slovak competition authority fines banks EUR3.18 million for cartel in non-cash forex transactions

( November 12, 2013, 17:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Slovak competition authority has adopted a cartel decision for an infringement involving three banks on the non-cash foreign-exchange market. The unnamed banks were found to have coordinated their actions when terminating contracts on current accounts with foreign-payment services provider Akcenta, and to have agreed to refuse to sign new contracts.
