South Korean ex-president and confidante face court summons in Samsung corruption appeal

Park was summoned during Lee’s first trial but refused to testify, citing health and other reasons. Choi was summoned three times but appeared in court only once and frequently exercised her right to refuse to answer questions fielded by prosecutors and the defense....
