Romanian farmers can get EUR75 million to compensate crop losses, EU Commission says

( December 6, 2022, 11:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Romanian farmers growing wheat, rye, barley, rapeseed and other crops will be eligible for direct grants, under a 75 million-euro government plan that won European Commission state aid approval today. The support will compensate them for crop losses suffered as a result of severe drought in 2021 and 2022.
