Waste collector FCC referred to Austrian cartel court, but without request for fine, watchdog says

( February 16, 2024, 11:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: FCC Austria Abfall Service, a waste-collection provider, is the first company to be referred to the nation's competition-specialist court as part of investigations into the sector, the Austrian antitrust authority said today. The referral was made over FCC's involvement in pricing agreements, market sharing and exchange of sensitive information between at least July 2002 and March 2021. But due to FCC's cooperation as part of the leniency program and its acknowledgement of the law breach, the watchdog refrained from asking the court to fine it for the conduct.Statement follows (in German). ...
