Huhtamäki's Luxembourg tax structure is the latest target of EU inquiries

( March 7, 2019, 10:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Huhtamäki, the Finnish food and drink packaging company, is facing an EU probe into its Luxembourg tax arrangements after the European Commission announced the opening of an in-depth state aid probe. The inquiry is focused on the group's Luxembourg subsidiary Huhtalux which carries out intra-group financing activities. Huhtamäki could have to reimburse tax breaks to Luxembourg if the commission finds they broke state aid rules.The statement is attached....
