Apartment sale and rental website PAP gets French GDPR fine

( February 13, 2024, 09:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Apartment sale and rental website De Particulier à Particulier, or PAP, was fined 100,000 euros by the French data protection authority for violating the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. The watchdog said violations included excessive data retention, inadequate privacy policies, lack of legal contracts with data processors and inadequate data security measures, exposing users to potential data breaches.
