US Chamber of Commerce backs Facebook in appeal of TCPA case

( April 18, 2022, 20:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Chamber of Commerce told an appeals court an “autodialer” as defined under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act must be able to generate random or sequential phone numbers, not just have the capacity to store them. The Chamber filed a brief in support of affirming the dismissal of a class action against Facebook over birthday messages sent to users.
