US DOJ, Google argue over hyperlinks in adtech antitrust suit discovery dispute

( February 7, 2024, 21:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google opposed a US Department of Justice motion seeking to compel the production of internal company documents attached via hyperlink to the documents relied on by Google experts to produce reports as part of a monopolization lawsuit over digital advertising technology markets. "Google’s outright refusal to search for and produce such documents and information severely prejudices Plaintiffs," the DOJ said in a motion, while Google said in an opposition memo that its experts "did not refer to or rely on the hyperlinks that Plaintiffs seek."See documents below....
