( October 3, 2013, 10:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A British prog-rock musician living in France may take a lawsuit in France in order to seek damages for unauthorised reproductions of his band's 1971 album Aubrey Small, according to an EU Court of Justice ruling. However, Peter Pinckney can only seek redress for the copyright breach of any sales of the album on the French territory. For the unauthorised reproduction and marketing of the album itself, Pinckney may need to sue the British and Austrian companies behind it in those countries where those breaches took place.The ruling in C-170/12 is attached....
