DOJ clears Continental-Veyance with divestiture of air-springs business
( December 11, 2014, 20:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Justice cleared Continental's acquisition of Veyance Technologies on the condition the companies divest assets to address antitrust concerns with the deal, the DOJ said in a press release Thursday. The department filed a suit against the merger as originally planned and a proposed settlement that includes the sell off of Veyance's North American air-springs business.
