Becton Dickinson seeks stay of injunction in hypodermic syringe antitrust case

( December 8, 2014, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Becton Dickinson filed an emergency motion to stay a mandatory injunction entered against it on Nov. 14 in a case accusing it of unlawfully maintaining a monopoly in the hypodermic syringe market. Becton wishes to stay the injunction pending an appeal and says that absent a stay it will be permanently harmed by the requirement that it notify its customers that it “wrongfully” distributed “false and misleading” advertisements concerning the sharpness of its needles. See document below. ...
