Fresenius says settlement in bribery case near, subject to final approval

( February 20, 2019, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fresenius Medical Care, a German dialysis firm, said that it has reached an agreement in principle with US authorities to settle a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act case and said that the settlement is now awaiting final approval. Fresenius said that it became aware of the possible FCPA violations in 2012 and has been communicating with the US Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
