Singapore developer UOL to boost stake in United Industrial, subject to approvals

( June 23, 2017, 03:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Property investor UOL Group Ltd has announced that it will buy an additional 4.23 percent stake in United Industrial Corp from related company Haw Par Corp Ltd via a share-swap deal reportedly worth around 210 million Singapore dollars ($151 million). The transaction will see UOL's stake in United Industrial rise to 48.94 percent, making it one of the largest owners of commercial space in Singapore.
