Digital platform Ageras broke competition rules, Danish watchdog says

( June 30, 2020, 12:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Danish digital platform Ageras violated competition rules, according to the national Competition and Consumer Authority. Ageras, a company that matches accounting services with businesses, was found to provide accountants with an “estimated market price” if the website deemed an accountant’s offer to be too low. Ageras also added a minimal price for certain services, which only the accountants could see. The matching website’s illegal practices took place between March and June 2018. The Competition Council has decided to report the case to the State Attorney for Special Economic and International Crime for the purpose of criminal prosecution.Press release follows in Danish....
