France steps up Brexit no-deal preparation with fast-track legislation

Five proposals — on citizens, emergency infrastructure of ports and railway, British transport companies, financial activity, and transfer of defense materials — will be put to parliament today in an emergency procedure, then approved in the Council of Ministers on Jan. 23.
