‘Crucial year’ ahead for electric cars, EU Parliament report says

The EU "still needs to address problems such as high upfront costs and a limited offer of electric vehicles compared to conventional ones, and limitations of the electrical grid, charging infrastructure and batteries," says the report, which sets out "10 issues to watch in 2019" for parliamentarians. "For all of these issues, 2019 will be a crucial year," it says.
