Capital One, plaintiffs suing over 2019 data breach reach $190 million settlement

In a motion for preliminary approval filed in the Eastern District of Virginia, plaintiffs said the settlement fund would go to direct compensation for losses and time spent dealing with the data breach as well as identity theft protection services for affected individuals.
