Official Journal: EC regulation starting a probe into possible circumvention of AD measures applicable to imports of certain aluminium foil from China

( October 23, 2012, 08:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has started an investigation to examine whether China is circumventing antidumping duties imposed on certain aluminium foil orginating in that country by imports of a slightly modified product which is then converted in the EU into the product concerned. The product in question is aluminium foil in rolls which are not annealed and of a width exceeding 650 mm. The investigation follows a request lodged by Symetal, Eurofoil, Alcomet and Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products last month.  The deadline for the conclusion of the investigation is 24 July 2013....
