Lawmakers held four hours of classified briefings on the need for an urgent progression of the bill and two hours of public hearings today, with the country's top spy saying that 90 percent of his agency's investigations are now being hampered by criminals' use of encrypted messages. Further hearings are expected on Nov. 27 and Nov. 30....
