44 Indonesian online lenders to face antitrust summons over interest-rate cartel allegations

( October 27, 2023, 07:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Some 44 peer-to-peer online lending companies will be summoned by the Indonesian Competition Commission, or KPPU, as part of its investigation into interest-rate cartel allegations. The KPPU today said it has elevated the case into a formal investigation after finding that the Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association had set guidelines for interest and loan costs, and that association members signed an integrity pact obliging them to comply with these guidelines. The investigation will run confidentially for 60 days....
